Competition for young designers

The Pro Carton Young Designers Competition in Austria is one of the leading European packaging design competitions. For 15 years, the competition has given young designers both professional recognition and access to the platform - the first step to a career. The competition is open to design students who have not yet started their careers in the field of design.Participation in the competition is free.

There are two categories in this competition:

1. Creative cardboard packaging;

2. Creative ideas for using cardboard is a chance for designers to use cardboard outside the packaging market.Last year's winner is the author of a cardboard bow tie.

3D applications are preferred, but illustrations and sketches are also accepted.

Prizes

The four winners of the competition will receive the following prizes:

Training week at an international packaging company- travel, accommodation and training costs are covered by the organizers of the competition;

Invitation to the awards ceremony for all finalists (maximum one person) along with their instructors;

Special Prize;

Relevant certificate;

International advertising and recognition: publication of prize works (press releases, website and social media).

Also, the winner of the audience vote will receive a special prize - iPad Air.

How to apply?

An application for participation in the competition, including information about the participant and the competition work, must be sent by regular mail to: Pro Carton, Laan van Nieuw Oost-Indië 131-G, NL-2593 BM The Hague, The Netherlands.Acceptance of applications ends on May 25, 2017.

The awards ceremony and gala dinner will be held in the city of Salzburg, Austria, on September 21, 2017.
