Scholarships for Theology Students, Netherlands

The Faculty of Philosophy, Religious Studies and Theology of Radbaud University in the Netherlands provides several scholarships for international students wishing to pursue a master's degree in theology.

The scholarship covers the cost of studying at the university, and scholars receive 8,500 euros annually for personal expenses (from this amount, students pay for accommodation and other expenses not related to university studies).The maximum term for a scholarship is 3 years, however, the university may terminate the granting of a scholarship if the scholarship holder does not cope with the curriculum.

Requirements for Applicants

The scholarship is awarded to Outstanding International Students.A bachelor's degree in theology is required for admission to a master's program in theology.

How to apply?

The application for the scholarship is submitted in conjunction with the application for admission to the master's program.Applicants need to fill out a questionnaire on the official website and send it, as well as an essay covering one of the topics of theology (the volume of an essay is 2000-200 words), a motivation letter, transcripts and two letters of recommendation to the following email address: theology@ru.nl

Applications will end on June 1, 2017.

Successful scholarship applicants may be invited to Skype interviews with the admissions committee.
