Research Fellowship from Institut Pasteur

Institut Pasteur inFranceprovides fellowships for graduate students.Both French and foreign scientists can apply for the scholarship.The scholarship is available to conduct research on any topic developed in laboratories of international network institutions such as infectious diseases, infectious pathophysiology, immunology, microbiology, epidemiology, virology, parasitology, and public health activities.

The amount of the scholarship is 1,400 euros per month, funding covers living expenses and insurance.A return ticket between the place of internship and the place of residence of the scientist is also paid.

Requirements for candidates:

The candidate must have a master's degree or equivalent diploma (completed 5 years of higher education);
Foreign scholars must be proficient in English or the language of the country in which the internship will take place.

How to apply:

The scholarship application can be made online at the website of the university

The application must include:

1. Description of the planned dissertation (maximum 2 pages), including background, topic, objectives and program of work.
2. CV of the candidate (1 page);
3. Presentation of research results and results obtained by the applicant (maximum 2 pages);
4. Confirmation of any grant received from a French or international organization in the previous year.
5. Information about the institute, host team and leader (maximum 2 pages).
6. Letter from the director of the host laboratory, ready to provide the applicant with the necessary assistance, as well as the name, title and position of the researcher to supervise the doctoral student (required);
7. A recommendation letter from a doctoral student (required).
