This joint program opens up a wide array of creative and business careers. Students graduate not just with higher level level creative and technical abilities but also with highly improved industry comprehension. At the business component students complete a set of core units to obtain a broad based introduction to business fundamentals and match those studies with a business major. The creative writing component provides students with opportunities to work intensively on their writing in a number of genres and forms, including novels, short stories, creative non-fiction, memoir, genre writing, billboards, electronic media, editing and new and emergent forms. Moreover, the course builds specialist writing skills for professional software via deep involvement with industry contexts. Students can also undertake job work to create a sustained work in a genre of their choice.
