An essential component of an electronics engineer is their ability to practice electronics. This course will consist of eight morning lectures per week, followed by laboratory sessions in the afternoon. The laboratory training sessions and exercises will provide you with many of the practical skills needed by an engineer. You will be taught the most up-to-date design skills using the most advanced design software on the market. You will therefore gain a high level of proficiency in a variety of design tools.

During this course you will also have the opportunity to expand your working knowledge of:

Assessment
The assessment methods on this course will be varied and will include written examinations, coursework, laboratory workbooks and demonstrations, and the submission of a dissertation. A pass is required in every assessment component in order to achieve the MSc final award.

Minimum Lower Second degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. First degree (Honours) in appropriate subject or Foundation Degree with appropriate industrial experience in the electronics industry. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 TOEFL paper-based test score : 600 TOEFL iBT® test: 100 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
