Educational organisation

The programme is operated by the European American University Consortium (EAUC). This vast network of renowned universities gives students the unique opportunity to complete the programme at a minimum of two and up to three different universities in Europe. The first semester always takes place at the University of Bath.
Therefore, students do not simply pursue a European Studies degree, but experience Europe from the perspective of multiple countries, (academic) cultures and languages. Upon successful completion of all study requirements, students are awarded a joint degree (MA in Contemporary European Studies) by the University of Bath on behalf of the EAUC.

Study abroad unit(s)

The full-time programme consists of four semesters, during which students study at up to three of the programme's partner universities, which include University of Bath, Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Sciences Po Paris, Università degli Studi di Siena, University of Washington, and University of North Carolina.

Forms of assessment

Written exams, essays, oral presentations, MA thesis
