The Masters programme in Law is developed to enable students to learn both, the general principles and philosophy of law in Europe as well as giving detailed knowledge and skills in specialization areas: these are European Union law, technology law, and international and comparative law. The faculty Tallinn Law School (TLS) combines classroom, interactive teaching and e-courses together with great study and research library, and access to multiple juridical databases to make the studies interesting and efficient. Students have possibility to study abroad in top European universities, participate in international moot court competitions, research projects and different networks (e.g. European Law Faculties Association, International Association of Law Schools etc.).

Each semester, Tallinn Law School provides scholarships for its students, TLS scholarship awarding terms and conditions (unofficial translation):

1. Students of Law curricula of Faculty of Social Sciences of TUT (hereinafter Students) shall have the right to apply for Tallinn Law School (hereinafter TLS) scholarships.

2. Scholarship will be awarded for each semester for up to six students in the amount of 1500 euros per semester per person and for up to twelve students in the amount of 750 euros per semester per person.

3. The conditions for applying to the scholarship are:

3.1. last semester GPA at least 3,5 (first year students based on admissions results being in the first one third of students admitted);

3.2. passing of exams and final tests within the required time-frame (within the exam session of the academic calendar); AND

3.3. studying full-time.

4. The scholarship competition will be publicly announced each semester, in order to apply an application must be submitted to the Director of TLS within one week from the announcement of the competition.

5. The Director of TLS forms a three-member scholarship committee in order to evaluate proposals. The Committee submits the recipients of scholarships to the Rector of TUT for confirmation.

6. The Scholarship Committee takes into account the following:

6.1. the economic situation of the student;

6.2. study and research results;

6.3. contribution to the development of TLS, Faculty of Social Sciences and/or TUT;

6.4. excellent results in activities outside of studies;

6.5. advancement of student life;

6.6. balanced spread of scholarships between different levels of study and study groups;

6.7. advancement of the principle of equal treatment.
