The programme is designed to provide students with necessary knowledge and skills in research carried out into separate parts (stages, tasks) of the subject by the responsible executor or in tandem with the advisor. This program will help students to carry out complex experiments and observing, to process and analyze of experimental findings and observing and to participate in planning and methodological R&D programs and in giving practical recommendations for the application of R&D findings. Masters of Science are prepared to perform the activity which meets the appropriate basic and professional standards including the research activity. Upon completion of the pertinent professional educational programme of pedagogic elevation masters will be eligible to perform pedagogical activity.

Core disciplines: Oilfield Technological Models of Oil and Gas Production Processes, Monitoring and Control for Oil and Gas Fields Exploration, Computer Technologies in Oil and Gas Fields Exploration, Oil and Gas Gathering and Treating, Field Infrastructure Development, Geological Interpretation of Geophysical Data, Hydrodynamic well Surveys, Well Operation under Difficult Drilling Conditions, Estimation of Hydrocarbon Resources, Methods of Intensification of Hydrocarbons Extraction and Increase of Producing Capacity, Interpretation of Hydrodynamic well Surveys.

* 4 years Bachelors Degree Certificate or an equivalent * Proof of English language proficiency: certificate TOEFL (paper 500 and better; web 55 and better) or IELTS (5.5 and better), First Certificate in English (FCE) or entrance test result * Sufficient result of Interdisciplinary exam
