This new English Master of Public Administration (MPA) programme is designed to prepare the next generation of public leaders with global vision to meet new challenges in policy-making and public governance in the rapidly changing worlds.  The programme combines theory and practice with an emphasis on public policy and administration.

  • A unique experience and legacy inherited from the well-known and successful NTU Chinese Mayors’ Class. It is the flagship programme of the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA), Nanyang Technological University (NTU). It has trained over 1,200 mid- and senior Chinese government officials successfully for almost two decades. Building on the success of the existing Chinese Mayors’ Class, the Master of Public Administration in English has finally opened its door to the whole world.

Fully taught in English, the programme is offered on both full-time and part-time basis.

Requirements

  • A strong Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years' or more of full-time work experience 
  • Each applicant's previous academic performance, work experience, and Statement of Purpose will be carefully reviewed by the University and the School.
  • TOEFL ​Minimum Test Score: Paper-based 580, Computer-based 230, Internet based 88-89
  • IELTS Minimum Test Score Score of 6.5,Min 5.5 for each skill module
