Some of the most important aspects of technology application have been outside the IT sector, at companies that use technology to improve knowledge, speed, efficiency, marketing and operational infrastructure.

Within today's IT sector, hires require expertise not only in computer information systems, but also a high degree of organizational leadership, customer relations and communications skills.

The School for Professional Studies meets this need by combining an organizational leadership degree with information technology courses to create an innovative program in Organizational Leadership and Technology (OLT).

The online Organizational Leadership & Technology program provides students with the skills necessary to motivate and lead employees while developing and implementing innovative technology-related solutions within today's complex business organizations.

SLU offers the bachelor degree in Organizational Leadership & Technology online, as well as in an on-ground format. All courses offered through Saint Louis University School for Professional Studies are in an accelerated format designed for busy adults, with online and evening classes.

Requirements

Applicants to the School of Professional Studies should meet the following admission requirements to be eligible for admission:

  • Age: 22 years or older (exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis).
  • Work Experience: at least 3 years or the equivalent.
  • Education: high school diploma or composite GED score of at least 2250.
  • Interview: successful completion of an admission meeting with an admissions counselor. This can be done over the phone or at one of our campus sites.
  • Grade Point Average: A minimum transfer cumulative GPA of 2.5 (unless qualified for conditional admittance).
