Description

Our marketing programmes are designed to ensure they meet industry needs. Holders of this degree are offered exemptions on professional qualifications with the Market Research Society and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing. The degree also benefits from the introduction of several new advertising courses, written by former practitioners who have moved into academia. The programme is designed to gradually increase knowledge by building on courses from earlier years.

The programme has four pathways leading to specific award titles: BA Hons Advertising and Marketing Communications with Language (French); BA Hons Advertising and Marketing Communications with Language (Italian); BA Hons Advertising and Marketing Communications with Language (Spanish).

Direct entry to Year 2 and 3 is available for qualified applicants. Students on this programme may apply to participate in overseas exchanges with our Erasmus partners.

The aims of the programme are:

  • To help students develop an in-depth knowledge of advertising and communications theory and how this is applied in practice
  • To prepare students for the world of work by providing them with employable and transferable skills including competence in a European language.

280 UCAS points (or equivalent)

PLUS GCSE (minimum grade C) in English and mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

Applicants who do not have English as their first language require IELTS 6 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill)or equivalent
