Description

The Computer Systems study programme provides education in engineering area of computer systems focusing on computer systems design, applied computer system software and applied computer science. Study program is designed to correspond local as well as global needs of IT sector. Study program covers a wide scope of problems concerned with system analysis, software system analysis and software development. We see our graduates mainly as developers, programmers and system analysts. Nevertheless, study program gives insight in the different problems of software and information system development process. Therefore a lot of graduates find their future jobs not only in the IT companies, but also as a IT support in different organisations, IT consultants or IT project managers. A modern software development approach is based on using different modelling and development tools that automate software development process.

The main aim of the bachelor study programme is to provide basic awareness of computer science with focus on software engineering, computer systems development and systems analysis, to prepare students for further master studies and to give an insight into practical application of acquired knowledge.
