Participants spend the fourth semester of the programme at Shanghai University and the fifth semester at Berkeley College, New York.

Forms of assessment

The International Business Psychology programme is organised in modules. Each module consists of up to six contact hours per semester. Performance will be graded on the basis of final exams, presentations, and papers. Each module will be awarded with ECTS credits according to the required workload.

Course objectives

International Business Psychology is targeted at students who are interested in the experience and behaviour of individuals and groups in working environments. Thanks to the economic training and the comprehensive technical and methodical knowledge in the relevant professional fields, graduates can select from various options for career entry. Specific areas include Human Resource Management, Management Consulting, and Coaching, particularly in an international context. Students will not only acquire contemporary and practical industry know-how, but will also be active in neighbouring professional areas owing to the broad focus of their education.

Language requirements

Applicants must provide proof of their German and English skills.
German: telc B1 or Goethe Certificate B1 or equivalent (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
English: internal test (level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Enrolment fees

Enrolment fees amount to 190 EUR per semester. The fee includes a semester ticket covering public transport in the Cologne metropolitan area.

Accommodation is available on the private market. Rent for a single room in a shared flat is approx. 350-400 EUR.
