University description: The Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) is one of the fastest growing private universities in Spain, with over 16,000 students. Located just minutes from the city center, mountains, and train station, the beautiful campus provides students a true Spanish experience and the opportunity to explore all of Europe and northern Africa. UCAM is hailed the Champion of University Competitions for the third consecutive year, with 112 medals (74 gold). Among UCAM’s top athletes are Olympic medalists like Mireia Belmonte and David Cal and World Champions such as Melanie Costa. The 21 federated teams sponsored and managed by UCAM include UCAM Murcia CB, a professional basketball team competing in the ACB Liga Endesa. UCAM's sports facilities are led by the UCAM Sports Center, a high-tech gym accessible to both university students and local communities.
Language School offers a multitude of intensive and regular language courses throughout the academic year and summer period (July-September). Students have the opportunity to learn or build up their knowledge of one of the following exciting languages: Spanish, English, Italian, French, German, Portuguese and Chinese. As for our Spanish language classes, UCAM offers a wide range of courses targeted at different student profiles (Erasmus, Interchange, pre-master, UCAM or external). These courses are open to anybody interested in learning languages and their cultural context, no matter if they are UCAM students or not. However, interested parties must be 18 years of age or older.
The main target of UCAM's School of Languages is to provide students with the contents necessary to advance one stipulated skill level per course or year, depending on the number of hours per course. All our courses are set up in such as way that they facilitate teaching and learning activities according to the European Common Framework Criteria regarding languages (A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2).
Certified teachers specialized in their respective mother tongue direct UCAM's language courses, including different activities that make learning both fun and interesting. The classes' timeschedules differ from course to course, depending on their level and duration. Students are required to attend at least 70% of their classes in order to be eligible for taking the final exam. Upon the successful completion of a course, students receive an official certificate.
Under normal circumstances, all classes have a limited number of students (usually between 8 and 15) in order enhance learning outcomes and team work activities.
Founded in 1996, the university's mission is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to serve society and to contribute to the further expansion of human knowledge through research as an integral part of the development of man and mankind.

Anytime during this process, you can ask for help or clarify any doubt by phone or e-mail +34 968 278 786 or email@example.com.
Step 1. University Admission – Validation of studies
Applicants must have their high school studies or its equivalent officially accredited or validated according to the following cases.
Students with high school diplomas from countries outside the European Union (and from outside those with EU bilateral agreements) must validate (or “homologate”) this Diploma by the Ministry of Education of Spain. To carry out this process, candidates should apply to the Ministry of Education and follow the indicated procedure to accredit their pre-university studies. Please note that this process is done outside UCAM and through governmental institutions, so it would be a good idea to start it a couple of months before the admission request. Students can continue the admission process to the University at the same time as their studies are being evaluated for official accreditation.
Please note that certain courses in the University may have further admission requirements, applicants will be informed of those requirements during the interview stage of admission.
UCAM staff will be glad to assist and assess your situation so please do not hesitate on contacting the university.
Step 2. Application Form
Once you have validated your studies or have started the process to do so, you are ready to start the 2rd step. From now on the process becomes much more simple and flexible because you be guided directly by UCAM’s service and staff, who are now totally responsible for making it easy for you.
From April to October, you can enter here to create your personal account (without any commitment) and start the Admission request process. You will have to scan and attach some documents, but the system is really simple and intuitive:
*This amount will be discounted on your tuition fee if you are admitted and it will be returned if you are not admitted. If you make this payment and then give up on the process, you will not be refunded.
The International Student Fellowship at UCAM includes citizens from all over the world, and, for this reason, we try to encourage those excellent students, motivated to develop their personal and academic careers by offering them the best and fair recruitment procedure. In this sense, the student’s selection procedure and criteria focus the interview on the academic profile together with the student’s abilities.
