Meteorology degree

Meteorology is an applied science which studies the structure of the atmosphere of the planet Earth. Meteorologists are engaged in the preparation of weather forecasts for citizens and agriculture. Other meteorologists are engaged in forecasting weather conditions for aviation, ships or military organizations.

Meteorology is a very ancient science. To be honest, Meteorology was not an actial science - priests and oracles were engaged in weather forecasting, as well as attempts to change it. Despite the fact that most of the magical shamanic customs are a thing of the past, many weather prediction methods have been truthful and relevant to this day. They included long-term observations of the weather - meteorologists are now engaged in pretty much the same; but with more modern technologies. Scientific approach to weather forecast was invented by Aristotle in 350 BC, when he wrote the book "Meteorology".

Since then, a lot has changed - different classifications have been established and revised, new equipment was invented by each generation  to help track future changes in the weather, flights to space revolutionized the  weather forecasting, but the main tasks of meteorologists are unchanged - predicting the weather and warning people.
