Career options for Bioengineering graduates

Bio and Biomedical Engineering is a very wide and diverse area - so graduates holding a degree in Bio and Biomedical engineering can find themselves on one of very different job placements - it depends on the interests of graduates and their specialization.

Bioengineering graduates are welcome in food production, pharmacology and pharmacy, Medical device industry, Hospital equipment selection, development of mechanisms based on the principles of biological organisms, human medicine, healthcare consulting, Biomechanics and rehabilitation.

Three most popular fields for Bio and Biomedical Engineering are Biomedical devices (which is more engineering area), Biomedical research (which precedes the Biomedical devices area) and Pharmacology.

A degree in Bio and Biomedical Engineering is usually very practical and prepares specialists, so usually graduates find a job after receiving an undergraduate degree, since it provides all needed skills.
