A career path of Environmental Engineer is the most obvious path for graduates holding a degree in this area. The most popular employers for Environmental Engineers are architectural services, scientific and technical consulting services, and government - either local or state government.

Environmental Management is also a rather popular career path for graduates holding a degree in Environmental Engineering. Environmental Managers work in large organizations and industries and optimize the work of these organizations in the context of reducing the impact on the environment. They calculate the cost of activities for the establishment of environmental quality, develop these programs and implement them in the life of the organization.

One other common career option for Environmental Engineering graduates is air quality specialists. They can work for large industries, for government or for non-profit environmental organizations.
