Environmental Systems Engineering

Environmental Systems Engineering is a branch of Engineering which is dedicated to the development of mathematical models in order to improve and control all processes in man-made world which have impact on environment and environmental systems.

Environmental Systems Engineering can be subdivided in three main sub-disciplines:

Urban Environmental Systems. This branch of Environmental Systems Engineering is dedicated to designing of environmental systems in a context of urban infrastructure. It includes the construction of buildings that are resistant to different weather conditions and various sources of energy.

Water Environmental Systems. This branch of Environmental Systems Engineering includes developing freshwater and wastewater systems, as well as maintaining them in the right state.

Coastal Environmental Systems. Coastal Environmental Systems Engineering is dedicated to the human impact on environmental systems associated with the coast, usually it refers to coastal cities and other settlements.
