Scholarships for Masters in Interdisciplinary Eastern European Studies

University of Bologna (Italy), Vytautas the Great University (Lithuania) and St. Petersburg State University (Russia) present a joint interdisciplinary master's program in Eastern European Studies.The first year of study, students will spend in Forli, at least 5 months of the second year of study will take place in one of the partner universities or in other universities in Eastern Europe (University of Ljubljana, University of Zagreb). The language of the program is English, and students will also study one of the Eastern European languages ​​of their choice - Russian, Serbian, Croatian, Hungarian, Lithuanian and others.

Up to 50 students can take part in the program, of which 20 are citizens of countries outside the European Union.

Five outstanding students are awarded a scholarship of 2,000 euros annually.

Who can apply?

This program is available to candidates with a bachelor's degree in political science, economics, international relations, foreign languages, history or cultural studies, as well as to students seeking a PhD.

Proficiency in English is required, the minimum level is B2. Basic IT skills are also required.

How to apply?

  3. Diploma and transcripts;

  4. Certificates of TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent, confirming the level of proficiency in English;

  5. Summary;

  6. Two letters of recommendation.

Applications are accepted until May 17, 2017 (from all candidates), or until September 4 (from residents of the EU countries or candidates with an equivalentstatus).
