South Moravian Center for International Mobility (JCMM) Scholarship

The South Moravian Center for International Mobility provides scholarships for international students wishing to pursue a Master's or PhD degree in a technical or natural science field. The amount of the scholarship is 7000 CZK per month (approximately 250 euros).In addition, the student is provided with free university education.

Within the framework of this program one can enroll in one of the following universities: Brno Technical University, Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University in Brno, andalso Masaryk University.

Please note that this scholarship only applies to programs taught in the Czech language.

Eligibility Requirements

International students from developing countries outside the European Union are eligible for this scholarship. Since the training will take place in the Czech language, excellent knowledge of the Czech language is required. Students who have already received their education at one of the universities or schools in the Czech Republic, or have lived in the Czech Republic for more than six months, cannot apply for a scholarship.

How to apply

To apply, you must fill out a form on the official website. Deadline - January 31, 2017. The following list of documents must be attached to the application:

  1. Notarized copy of your diploma and its professional translation into Czech or English;

  2. Notarized copy of the transcript of your diploma and its professional translation into Czech or English;

  3. Form for the conversion of the diploma.

If you receive your diploma only in the spring, then in the application you need to indicate only the date of receipt of the diploma and confirmation from your university, and upload a copy of the diploma when you receive it.
