Agile Open Review of Your Articles by the European Scientific Journal

The European Scientific Journal (ESJ) is one of the largest journals publishing scientific materials in all academic disciplines, which is reputed to its agile approach to the reviewing process. Since its internationalization, ESJ has been missing out the common review procedure – when researchers have to wait for months/years until receiving any submission feedback on their articles – and replacing it with the procedure of a new flexible and prompt type.

What does ESJ suggest?

After plagiarism and basic technical check, an academic editor is assigned to an article, who is instructed not to estimate the potential impact of a paper in a given field, for ESJ believes this subjective judgment can cause delay of the publication, that later appears to be of major significance. The editor evaluates the manuscript only based on objective criteria, such as scientific validity and the technical soundness of the content. As a result, the Journal’s acceptance rate is above 68%. Moreover, the review is open, which implies that ESJ publicly announces the review of an accepted article on its website, so the researcher is able to stay constantly in the know.

What do need researchers to submit?

  • Use the ESJ article template and follow the current standards when submitting the paper (see official website).
  • Keep to “Author’s Guideline” (see ibid.).
  • All articles must be in English, French, or Spanish.
  • Regardless the main paper language, all articles must have an English abstract.
  • Recommended article length is 7-20 pages.
  • Researchers should submit their manuscripts via e-mail at contact@eujournal.org or using the ESJ online submission system.
