Goethe Talents Grant for Musicians

The Goethe Talents program from the organizers of the Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs festival in Germany supports young musicians, DJs, composers from developing countries.Participants of the program will be able to attend the Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs festival and Berlin recording studios, as well as participate in various master classes from professional musicians from around the world.

Dates of the program - from 16 to 26 August 2017, the festival itself will begin on 23 August.

The grant covers the cost of participation in the program, the cost of travel, and personal expenses.The organizers book tickets for participants on their own, and also help with obtaining a visa.The Musicboard Foundation provides program participants with a ticket to the Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs festival, hotel accommodation and breakfast, free city transport, health insurance and access to the Pop-Kultur music community.

Eligibility Requirements

Musicians between the ages of twenty and thirty from developing countries are eligible to participate.Experience in the music field is required - at least three projects.Proficiency in English is required.

Each festival participant should prepare an introductory speech about their musical experience and the role of music in their country.
