Dates for applications

For those wishing to start their studies in March, the application and entrance examinations period lasts from September to November. Those planning to study from September must submit information about themselves in May or June.

Testing is the main way to select worthy applicants. In South Korea, essays and written recommendations are viewed with suspicion - they are considered difficult to assess objectively.

For admission, an applicant must pass a standard test called suneung. This test has three parts: English, Mathematics, and Korean.Additionally, the applicant takes a number of natural and social subjects at his choice.

Documents

For admission, you must fill out an application, write a resume written in English or Korean, a letter of motivation, provide a birth certificate (copy), passport (copy), letters of recommendation from teachers and a certificate that confirms the level of knowledge of the Korean or English language. For admission, you need a certificate of twelve-year education, so Russian students need to either take one-year preparatory courses at the university, or first enter a Russian university, and then transfer to a Korean one.
