Chancellor's International ScholarshipThe University of Warwick provide several postgraduate research scholarships for talented students all over the world. The scholarship is opened in any discipline the University of Warwick offers. In 2017 year the University of Warwick will award Scholarships to 25 PhD students, who will be chosen by the criteria of academic record, supporting evidence and proposal, and academic acheivments.

The amount of Scholarship is £19,740, it covers the tuition fees. The students will also receive a stipend, which amount is £14,539.

Requirements

The scholarship can only be awarded to those candidates who obtain at least an upper second class honours degree.

If you wish to participate in the scholarship competition, you should apply for one of the University of Warwick PhD programmes.

How to apply

The applications for the PhD programme and for scholarships are combined into one application form. You can find the application form here. You should also provide the following list of documents:

  1. Your research proposal (up to 4500 characters);
  2. Transcripts of your previous/current study;
  3. Two references in support of your application;
  4. Extract of your publications (500 characters);
  5. Information about scholarships and grants you have been awarded before (500 characters).

The application should be submitted before 18th January 2017, but references and transcripts can be uploaded later, before 1st February 2017. The results will be announced by mid March 2017.
