Traveling Japan with JapanTravel

The Japan Online Guide invites youtube bloggers, photographers and writers on a four-week paid trip to Japan. Participants are required to create content (inspirational and informative videos, texts, photographs) for the online guide.

The traveler has the right to choose which regions of Japan he will visit, but the most interesting for the portal are those regions that are not yet covered in the portal, or are poorly covered. Therefore, the trip is likely to include visiting not only the famous tourist mecca of Japan, but also non-tourist remote places.

The guide is currently available in the following languages: Russian, English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic and Korean, therefore participants must be proficient in one of these languagesand create content in that language. One article per day is required from the participant.There are no strict deadlines, but seven submissions are expected from the traveler every week. Guides to tourist and non-tourist places, photo stories, notes, videos, reviews of events and institutions are accepted.

The traveler must have his own camera, laptop and smartphone. Participants of the program are paid for accommodation and travel within Japan (1000 yen per day for accommodation and 1000 yen for transportation).

To apply for participation in the program, you need to fill out a questionnaire on the website, as well as provide a short resume and portfolio with your best works. Applications are accepted all year round.
