Master's Degree in Software Engineering

The Master's program in Software Engineering is taught at the following universities: Free University Bozen-Bolzano in Italy, Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany, University of Oulu in Finland, and Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain. The program lasts two years and prepares students for a research and professional career in software engineering.

Teaching takes place in English, however, in order to pass the exams, students will need to master the local language at a basic level.

The most outstanding students will receive a scholarship of € 24,000 per year. In addition to tuition and other expenses, the scholarship pays for a local language course.

Requirements for candidates

Applicants for a master's program must have a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or computer engineering (or another degree givingsimilar knowledge).

Students and fellows will be selected based on the following criteria: work experience, academic performance, letters of recommendation.

How to apply

The application must be completed online on the official website of the program. It is necessary to send the following documents with it:

  1. A copy of the certificate confirming proficiency in English (TOEFL, IELTS or analogs);

  2. Summary (CV);

  3. Copy of passport (page with photo);

  4. Certificate from the place of work or study about your place of residence;

  5. Copy of diploma (in English)

  6. Transcripts in English;

  7. Letters of recommendation.
