Volunteering at the Olympic Games in South Korea, 2018

The organizers of the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea invite volunteers from all over the world to work in various fields: information support, media, technology, healthcare, sports, translation, customer service and others. For the Winter Olympic Games 16,000 volunteers are required, for the Paralympic Games 6,400 volunteers are required.

Volunteers must be over 18 years of age at the time of the Olympic Games. Experience as a volunteer at international sports and cultural events, as well as knowledge of foreign languages ​​(especially Korean) is desirable. The preference is given to those volunteers who are ready to work in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and also have the skills necessary for a particular position (for example, experience in the field of IT or media, medical education, and so on).

Volunteers will work 5 days a week - 3 weeks at the Olympic Games and 2 weeks at the Paralympic Games.In addition, the organizing committee invites volunteers to take part in preparations for the Olympic Games.

Food, lodging, uniforms and shuttles from work to home are provided.Tickets to South Korea and back are not paid.

You can apply for participation online at link until December 31, 2017. You can edit the application even after the deadline. An introductory assignment will also be offered to candidates.
