Society for the Study of the Renaissance Scholarships for Scholars

The Society for the Study of the Renaissance accepts applications for scholarships for scholars. The purpose of these fellowships is to support research in the study of the Renaissance.In 2017, the Society provides two scholarships. The duration of the program will be 12 months from October 2017. The research report will be published in the Society's bulletin.

The amount of the scholarship is £ 8,000.Scholars cannot combine this scholarship with full-time teaching.

Requirements for Applicants

Graduates of British and Irish higher education institutions who are pursuing research work at university or independently, orteaching part-time. Applications are accepted from candidates of science (PhD) who received this degree no more than five years ago, or from graduate students who will receive a candidate of science (PhD) by October 2017.

How to submit an application

To submit an application, you must upload the following documents to the official website of the Company:

1. Project description (no more than 1000 words);

2. Executive summary (including a summary of your research to date, as well as a description of how you can financially support during the year of research);

3. PhD degree.

Two letters of recommendation must be uploaded by the referees themselves.

Acceptance of applications and letters of recommendation ends on May 31, 2017.
