Description

Rutgers-Camden offers joint BA/DO program with Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ. Students will complete a three year curriculum at Rutgers-Camden and the traditional four year curriculum at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. The program is open to qualified high school graduates applying as first year students.

There are no restrictions on state of residency, but admissions is limited to citizens or permanent residents of the United States. All applicants to the joint program must provide proof of high school graduation. The high school grade point average, if applicable, rank-in class, along with two letters of recommendation from teachers/professors will be of primary importance in evaluating an applicant's credentials. Applicants are also required to submit scores of the SAT (minimum 1920 required) or the ACT (minimum 29 required).

After preliminary evaluation of applications by a joint admissions committee from Rutgers and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, applicants will be invited for interviews at Rutgers-Camden and Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine. Applicants not invited for an interview or not selected for admission to the joint program shall be notified of the decision as soon as possible.

Preference will be given to students who complete their college admissions application by the priority deadline of December 1st. Students must be admitted to Rutgers-Camden first before completing the additional application instructions to apply to the joint program.
