The MBA in hospitality is a NEASC accredited, industry-approved MBA that develops skills in critical thinking, leadership, business data analysis, and financial management. Additionally, the MBA class environment contributes to professional development through contact with industry leaders, cross-cultural work groups, and industry-specific business projects.

To meet the needs of students with varying work experience, educational backgrounds and professional situations, Glion offers the following program options which all lead to the same degree: the MBA in International Hospitality & Service Industries Management.

Campus – Our traditional, one-year MBA in hospitality

The campus MBA program is designed for students with a degree in hospitality, event or tourism.

Campus & Online – A flexible MBA hybrid

For students who have two years of work experience, the hybrid MBA is taught 50% on campus, and 50% online.

Online MBA – 100% Online for Experienced Professionals

For experienced professionals only, this MBA allows the flexibility to study at one’s own pace while continuing to work.

Professional MBA

For students who have little or no work experience, this program integrates internships and offers flexibility to study online.

    MBA Students Profile

    In July 2012, the MBA program enrolled 53 students out of 74 applicants. The class is composed of 36 women and 17 men. The average age is 22-25 years old. The MBA class shares a rich cultural mix with 25 nationalities represented: 24% from all of Europe, 10% from North and South America, and 55% from Asia and Eastern Pacific countries. All of the MBA students entered the program with a Bachelor degree and some work experience in a service related position.

    Online MBA Students Profile

    With seven intakes now underway, over 120 students are now studying on the GIHE Online MBA. The combined classrooms are composed of 33% women and 67% men, with an average age of 37 years and 15 years of relevant working experience with 17% students gaining corporate sponsorship for their studies. The Online MBA boasts a cultural mix of 48 countries: 32% European, 16% from North and South America, and 52% from Africa, Asia and Eastern Pacific countries.
