Our Bachelor's programme in International Business will enable you to understand the connections between business thinking and philosophies in an international context.
The programme has an international focus and offers various opportunities for internal exchange. We aim to foster cultural diversity.

Educational organisation

The Bachelor's degree programme takes 36 months, 28 months of which are taught in classes on campus. The studies are divided into five-week blocks to ensure that competencies can be acquired in a focused way. In other words, there are no semesters or trimesters (terms) as such. The programme contents are conveyed by means of case studies or project-based applications and include an integrated internship and an elective study abroad period.

In the third year, students study abroad, complete an internship, and write their Bachelor's theses.

The small student groups (maximum 35 students), the mentoring system and the open-door policy as well as the renowned and experienced teaching staff guarantee special and very individual study conditions.

Study abroad unit(s)

You can gain valuable international experience, improve your language skills and obtain intercultural competence in the third year with an integrated study abroad period at one of our partner universities.

Internships

Internships are available. (All undergraduate students are required to complete an internship in their third year.)

Course objectives

The range of possible vocational fields is varied. You will be qualified to work in the areas of human resources, marketing, communication or sales in industrial and service companies. Alternative options include careers in market research institutions, advertising agencies, management consultancies, tax, accounting and auditing consultancies, banks or insurance companies.
International career opportunities will be possible, as you will be empowered with a global perspective and an understanding of worldwide business. You will also be well prepared to successfully venture into self-employment.

Services and support for international students

The International Office organises an orientation week for new students. There are several events for international students throughout the year (Café International, International Christmas Party, Open House, Campus Fest).
