Participants spend the fourth semester of the programme at Shanghai University, and the fifth semester at Berkeley College, New York.

Forms of assessment

The International Business Management programme is organised in modules. Each module consists of up to six contact hours per semester. Performance will be graded on the basis of final exams, presentations, and papers. Each module will be awarded with ECTS credits according to the required workload.

Course objectives

This Bachelor's programme prepares students for the demands of globally operating companies and qualifies them for entry-level positions in all relevant fields of those companies. Graduates of the Bachelor's programme in International Business Management will find a broad range of areas in which they can apply their business administrative expertise and skills in their working life. Regular feedback from cooperation partners of Hochschule Fresenius, University of Applied Sciences indicates that this study programme meets market requirements.

Language requirements

Applicants must provide proof of their German and English skills.
German: telc B1 or Goethe Certificate B1 or equivalent (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
English: internal test (level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)

Enrolment fees

The enrolment fee amounts to 190 EUR per semester. The fee includes a semester ticket covering public transport in the Cologne metropolitan area.
