This interdisciplinary Bachelor's programme at Germany's most sustainability-oriented university incorporates all of the aspects necessary to meet the demands of students seeking a global perspective at the edge between business and technology.

Over the course of six semesters, students will study innovative learning concepts in the fields of business and engineering. Our focus on sustainability and green technologies as well as our globally interrelated perspective provides future graduates with excellent key qualifications and enables them to master the challenges of our time.

Real-life business projects as well as training in organisation, methods, and communication skills complete our students' academic and personal profiles.

As an added benefit, German language and intercultural communication modules may even pave the way for a possible professional life in Germany or a position at a German enterprise abroad.

Forms of assessment

ECTS credit points can be earned through exams, presentations, group and lab work, interdisciplinary projects, and/or essays.

Course objectives

As a graduate of the programme "Sustainable Business and Technology", you will be able to apply your skills to many different situations, from manufacturing to business administration. Your versatility will allow you to work in fields that are also useful to a variety of businesses, governments, and non-profit organisations. With your knowledge in environmental technologies and renewable energies, you will also be perfectly educated and prepared for the challenges and developments of the global energy market.

Enrolment fees

200 EUR per semester
The fee includes a semester ticket covering public transport in the region.

Costs of living

Approx. 700 EUR per month (including rent)

Job opportunities

International students from non-EU countries are legally permitted to work 120 full days or 240 half days per year on a student visa.

Students will enjoy the benefits of our "buddy" programme, in which German students help individual international students get oriented and integrate into campus life.

Accommodation

Students will live on our modern campus. All student apartments are reasonably priced. They come fully equipped and provide high-speed internet access in addition to being connected to our university intranet.
