Requirements for the Academy of Lyric Opera Programme at La Scala

The Academy of Lyric Opera Programme at La Scala is a prestigious programme for aspiring opera singers. To be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of vocal training.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in opera performance.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in music theory.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in music history.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in Italian language.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in stagecraft.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in dance.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in acting.
• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience in music composition.
