This is a programme for students wanting to develop a career within the creative industries', such as advertising, direct marketing or public relations. It fosters the ability to choose, design, implement and evaluate creative message strategies for different target audiences and to select the appropriate media channels to communicate such messages for best impact.

With a firm grounding in general marketing principles, students will be uniquely placed to ensure that potential tensions between the creative and the practical are overcome to produce innovative solutions that meet budgets and timescales.

Case studies bring theory to life, illustrating best practice and how this can be achieved through the implementation of project teams.

To be eligible for admission, applicants should normally possess: * a good Honours degree or equivalent * a good command of English. If you have not studied in an English speaking country you will need to have an academic IELTS 6 (5.5 in all skills) or TOEFL IBT 79 (skills scores 17 L, 18 R, 20 S, 17 W), Pearson PTE 54 overall with 51 in each skill * one academic referenceYou should complete a postgraduate application form and submit this along with: * your degree transcript * an IELTS or TOEFL certificate (if appropriate) * your academic reference English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6 TOEFL iBT® test: 79 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
