Requirements for the Historical Clarinet Programme at Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Music

The Cesare Pollini Conservatory of Music offers a unique and comprehensive Historical Clarinet Programme for prospective students. This programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the history and development of the clarinet, as well as the skills and techniques necessary to play the instrument.

In order to be accepted into the Historical Clarinet Programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of prior clarinet experience
  • A minimum grade of B in all music theory courses
  • A minimum grade of B in all music history courses
  • A minimum grade of B in all clarinet performance courses
  • A minimum grade of B in all music composition courses

In addition to the above requirements, prospective students must also demonstrate a strong commitment to the study of the clarinet and its history.
