Requirements for the Dietetics Programme at the University of Milan

Are you interested in studying dietetics at the University of Milan? Our Dietetics programme is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful dietitian. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Completion of a minimum of 30 credits of college-level coursework in the sciences, including biology, chemistry, and nutrition
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the humanities, including psychology, sociology, and anthropology
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the social sciences, including economics, political science, and public health
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the health sciences, including medical terminology, nutrition, and health promotion
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the culinary arts, including food preparation, food safety, and nutrition
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the business and management sciences, including accounting, finance, and marketing
  • Completion of a minimum of 15 credits of college-level coursework in the communication sciences, including public speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication
