You will gain an understanding of the major philosophical and political ideas of the time, as well as the social and cultural context in which they developed. In the Literature and Culture of the Modern Era, you will explore the literature and culture of the modern world, from the Renaissance to the present day. You will gain an understanding of the major literary and cultural movements of the time, as well as the social and cultural context in which they developed.
