Requirements for the Foreign Languages and Literatures Programme at the University of Pisa

The University of Pisa offers a Foreign Languages and Literatures programme that provides students with the opportunity to study a variety of languages and literatures from around the world. In order to be accepted into the programme, students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum grade of 80% in a foreign language course at the secondary school level.
  • A minimum grade of 70% in a literature course at the secondary school level.
  • A minimum grade of 70% in a course in the history of the language and literature of the chosen language.
  • A minimum grade of 70% in a course in the culture of the chosen language.
  • A minimum grade of 70% in a course in the linguistics of the chosen language.
