The master'sdegree in Economic Analisis (IMEA) is a master'sdegree in Economics that provides a sound basis for working in an international context or for continuing on to a PhD.

The master'sdegree in Economic Analisis programme follows the anglo-saxon model. The programme is divided into two academic years, of 60 credits each. All teaching is in English. The first academic year gives students the necessary theoretical foundations for a sound training as an economist. In the second year, students choose an area to specialise in. Finally, students write a master's dissertation on an important issue in Economics, under the supervision of a Faculty lecturer.

At the end of the IMEA programme, students who meet certain requirements (excellent academic track record, PhD-level pass grade on the master's dissertation, and passing grades in the Prelim exams), may continue on to the IDEA doctoral programme (International Doctorate in Economic Analysis).
