The course provides the opportunity to critically assess and examine key legal issues in the oil and gas sector, both in the UK and leading areas. For entry to the course you should be one of the following: * law graduate in any jurisdiction * lawyer admitted to practice in any jurisdiction * non-law graduate with substantial law-related work experience such as engineering contracts * legal administrator within a business.An undergraduate degree in law or a related discipline (usually at honours level) is preferred however relevant experience in the oil and gas sector English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 TOEFL iBT® test: 90 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa. Merit Scholarship
Aberdeen Business School offers a number of merit scholarships to outstanding students. The scholarship is available to:

* international students who will study the course by full time and distance learning and pay for the fees at the international rate; or
* UK or EU students who will study the course by full time and the fees are set in excess of 6,000 GBP; or
* UK or EU students who will study the course by distance learning.
