Designed to provide you with specialist knowledge of international business, these NEW self-study programmes in International Business have been developed by academics within the School of Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. The School ranks in the top 15 in the UK according to The Times newspaper, putting it in the highest league of UK management schools.

Building on the success of Royal Holloway's MBA in International Management, the programmes in International Business provide a thorough grounding in a range of core subjects, giving you a strong foundation in the principles and techniques of business. You will also be able to select from a wide range of elective courses, allowing you to explore your interests and develop your expertise. Please note that as the MSc in International Business does not involve face-to-face sessions, it is not an AMBA-accredited programme.

To apply for the MSc or Postgraduate Diploma you must have: * an undergraduate degree (e.g. bachelor) which is considered at least comparable to a UK second class honours degree, in any subject, from an institution acceptable to the University, or * an undergraduate degree in any subject, from an institution acceptable to the University and a GMAT score of 550 or above, or * an acceptable professional qualification and a GMAT score of 550 or above.To apply to register for stand-alone individual modules you should satisfy the above entrance requirements. However, if you do not hold such qualifications, the University may still consider your application but will require evidence of your ability to undertake advanced study (e.g. professional qualifications and/or work experience). English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 CAE score: (read more) Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) is part of the Cambridge English suite and is targeted at a high level (IETLS 6.5-8.0). It is an international English language exam set at the right level for academic and professional success. Developed by Cambridge English Language Assessment - part of the University of Cambridge - it helps you stand out from the crowd as a high achiever. 75 (Grade B) TOEFL paper-based test score : 580 TOEFL iBT® test: 92 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa. The IELTS test is most widely accepted by universities and is also accepted for Tier 4 visas to the UK- learn more. Technological Requirements To study these programmes you need a computer with access to the Internet. The minimum specification is a 133Mhz, Pentium PC (266 Mhz recommended) or equivalent running Windows 98 or later; 32MB RAM; screen resolution 800x600 colour or higher; CD-ROM Drive, Sound Card and speakers (or G3 Macs and later running at least Mac OS 7.0). The computer should have at least 1GB of free hard disk space. Financial assistance

No financial assistance is available from the University. Some employers in both the public and private sector may offer financial assistance to their employees.

Students at publicly funded teaching institutions in England may apply for a loan through the Student Loans Company.

Students with disabilities

Disabled students who are resident in the UK may also be able to apply for a Disabled Student Allowance (DSA).

Armed forces

Students who are members of the UK Armed Forces should note that the University of London has been approved by the Ministry of Defence in support of the Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme (ELC Provider Reference Number 1284). The Scheme provides financial support to eligible Service personnel who wish to enhance their educational or vocational achievements.

Originally founded in 1886, Royal Holloway is today the third largest multidisciplinary College of the University of London.

The School of Management was founded in 1990 and has grown quickly to become Royal Holloways largest department. The School has 85 academic staff researching and teaching in a broad range of management subjects within international and national contexts.
