Study abroad unit(s)

The students on the standard track have the opportunity to spend an outbound exchange semester at a partner university as part of the international education at Kühne Logistics University. Enrolled as full students at the host university, they will gain first-hand insights into new countries and cultures and have unique experiences. Of course, the credits earned abroad are transferable to the KLU transcript. Visit our website for a complete listing of our partner university network.

Internships

After the third semester, students do an internship, which they can complete abroad. This is a good opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills and to find a subject and material for your Master's thesis. The Career Services Department will assist students in finding an appropriate internship.

Students who have already studied at a university outside of Germany for a substantial amount of time (for example if your first degree is from abroad) can choose to spend their third semester at KLU.

Forms of assessment

Students are expected to take written and oral examinations. The written examinations include examinations, project reports and the Master's thesis. Oral examinations include the examination interview, presentations and colloquiums. All examinations must be taken during the course of studies. Examination work can be divided into the intermediate exam, case work and presentation, and final exam.
