Description

Graduates holding an Economics degree are qualified to work in Lithuanias and foreign capital business enterprises, national and international organizations, banks, and in other financial institutions working as specialists, analysts, consultants or managers of economics and finances; this degree enables a person to gain licences for specific activities (audit, finance brokers, bankruptcy administrators, etc.) passing certain courses provided by national and international organizations, and to run a private business.

International Economics

Finances and Banking. The knowledge about the management of financial resources is deepened, analytical and practical students skills to perform complex function activities of finance specialists are formed. These activities are related to accounting and taxation of the activity of an economy subject, the analysis of financial resources, investments and risk management in local and foreign market.

Economical Analysis and Planning. The knowledge about micro-economics is deepened, the skills of students analytic and critical thinking to analyse the efficiency of the activity of economical subjects, to identify, analyse, evaluate and foresee activity results of an enterprise or organization, work efficiency, work resource planning and management are formed.

International Economics. The knowledge about macro-economics and mega-economics is deepened, analytical and practical students skills to evaluate the state of international products and services, capital, work and currencies, to foresee economical outcomes in the context of local and global economics, to analyse the meaning of individual countries and international companies in coordinating global economics are formed.

Requirements

International Students must have at least a secondary education diploma or equivalent certificate recognised by the Lithuanian Government. Students lacking this can be accepted if they have a proof of the successful completion of at least one year of studies at a higher education institution in any country (legalised documents).
