Description

The International Tourism Management Programme at Dalarna University prepares you for positions in the tourism field where management of destinations and issues of sustainability are in focus. Environmental concerns are central to development of the tourism industry, and it is obvious that the future holds many challenges when it comes to new demands among tourists and the way in which the needs of the host populations are catered for. This programme addresses these central themes in International Tourism.

The programme has a strong international perspective, focusing on destination development. You will learn how to critically analyse the prerequisites for destination development and the consequences of different strategies, as well as marketing, communications and product development.
