Description

This Joint Honours in Science degree gives you the opportunity to combine your dual interests in accounting and mathematics.

You gain a thorough insight into both topics and make interesting connections between them.

In accounting you will explore modern accounting theory and practice with modules including:

No previous experience of accounting is required.

In mathematics you will develop a thorough grounding in topics and techniques such as:

- A Levels

AAB including Mathematics at grade A and excluding General Studies.

- Scottish Qualifications

AAABB at Higher Grade including grade A in Mathematics. Advanced Higher in Mathematics preferred. Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted.

- International Baccalaureate

A minimum of 35 points with Mathematics grade 6 at Higher Level.

- Irish Leaving Certificate

A1A1A1B1B at Higher Level, including Mathematics at Grade A1.

- Access Qualifications

A level 3 unit in Mathematics at Distinction is required. At least 30 level 3 credits at Distinction and in addition at least 15 level 3 credits at a minimum of Merit.

- BTEC Level 5 HND

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (formerly BTEC National Diploma)

- Cambridge Pre-U

D3,D3,M2 in Principal Subjects including Mathematics at grade D3.

- English Language Requirements

For this degree you will need a minimum score of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
