Management

All applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree no more than two years prior to enrolling in the MM program. The program is designed for candidates with little to no full-time work experience. Candidates with some (e.g., one year to 18 months) work experience are eligible to apply. Candidates with more work experience are encouraged to apply to our other graduate degree programs. The Master of Management curriculum consists of 14 courses for a total of 30.75 credit hours completed over 10 months.

An intensive summer term kicks off the program in June.* Students complete three core courses that are critical for business success and provide foundational knowledge for elective courses. An extensive series of in-depth, hands-on workshops with Ross Career Services gets students prepared for the recruiting season.
During the fall and winter terms, students deepen their business knowledge through additional core courses, and customize their educational experience with electives.

IELTS Scores are not accepted.Two letters of recommendationPrerequisitePre-calculus (Math 105 for UM undergrads) – This course presents the concepts of pre-calculus from four points of view: geometric (graphs), numeric (tables), symbolic (formulas), and written (verbal descriptions). The emphasis is on the mathematical modeling of real-life problems using linear, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. (Taking a higher level math course for which pre-calculus or Math 105 is a prerequisite will meet this requirement).Non-University of Michigan Courses – The math prerequisite must be taken at an accredited four-year university.
