Description

Radiography is an exciting and challenging career involving the use of highly sophisticated equipment to create x-rays – anatomical images that are used by physicians to diagnose disease, injury or disability. Radiographers have direct patient contact in clinic and hospital settings and are valuable members of the primary healthcare team.

The mission of the Radiography Track is to encourage talented and dedicated individuals to pursue careers in radiography and prepare them for the profession by providing a high quality, professional curriculum that presents a broad didactic component, comprehensive clinical rotations, and an environment that instills professional affective skills.

At the University of Minnesota Rochester campus, our focus is on providing students with the best health science and biotechnology education. By incorporating unique and integrated ways of teaching, UMR has created an environment that encourages academic success and helps students discover their professional passion. By leveraging UMR’s high-quality, engaged faculty, local experts in the community, and top-notch facilities, UMR delivers an experience above and beyond conventional higher education.
