Description

In many ways, a study of History is incomplete without a study of Politics. Similarly, a study of Politics is incomplete without an understanding of History. Each, inevitably, informs the other.

This ever-popular cross-disciplinary programme allows you to take a 50:50 split of History and Politics modules, gaining broad-ranging knowledge, valuable transferrable skills and an insight into the complexities of human behaviour and society from these complementary subjects.

Both subjects follow a modular structure allowing students to tailor their studies to their own interests.

Independent rankings

History at Kent was ranked 1st for research in The Complete University Guide 2014. And, in the National Student Survey 2013 History was ranked 10th for student satisfaction.
