Description

Students who undertake this course will benefit from an opportunity to develop specialist knowledge of diversity, health and community from sociological and social policy perspectives; as well as being equipped to analyse, and work within complex late modern societies.

Studying for this degree will provide graduates with a robust grounding in the social sciences in a key area of recognised importance in the contemporary world and in terms of global citizenship. In addition, upon graduation this will provide individuals with the opportunity to seek employment in a wide range of interesting professional careers, including local and national government departments. The focus on community and disability issues in turn offers a unique perspective that will aid graduate employability.
